Well Ive been hearing about the new mac book air a lot lately and you know I gotta ask what they were thinking when they designed that thing, I mean yea it’s the thinnest laptop out there right now but who really cares about that in the long run when it sacrifices the functionality that a person who uses a laptop on a daily basis requires be it for a business or students ect. In the article that I’m linking after I finish this little rant the guy nailed the issues on the nose with the mac book air, the biggest issues I would have are the Battery, CD/DVD drive and hard drive. The HD is the big one for me I mean we all pretty much have been there where you don’t have the use of your own computer and get stuck with a slow *pofs* and it can be excruciating and going from a 7200rpm drive or even a 5400 rpm drive would be on this side of irritating for me, then theres the CD/DVD drive or in this case a lack there of which I’m a person who tends to fill up a hard drive pretty quick and do enough tasks and messing around with my OS *probably more then I should* that I format and redo my laptop and desktops on a monthly basis so not having that and having to fork out more money or even try to do a network install is a total waste of my time. Now for the battery I know anyone with a laptop always hits that point where you *must* swap out your battery as an unfortunate thing it happens to me all to often and I don’t have a spare, so anyway not being able to swap out batteries and be able to continue whatever tasks you require to do your totally screwed till you can find an outlet…..ok I’m gonna end my rant there, an I’m sure my grammar is less then satisfactory *what else is new lol* but pretty much my opinion on the mac book air is it’s an over priced piece of eye candy that isn’t worth buying.
big rant lol well heres the link to the ===>Article< === have a good one and seriously no offense to mac fans either I just see a lack of practicality and functionality in this thing.
